Last Shot: Part 4 of 4
Welcome to our fourth check-in and discussion posts for our Book of the Month.
This month’s book is Last Shot by Daniel José Older
Part IV & V
Last Shot Part 4 of 4
1. This book, the last section in particular, had a lot of action sequences. Like in a movie where a team splits up to face their enemy on multiple fronts, the team had multiple firefights happening at once. This is tricky to do in written format, do you think the author pulled it off?
2. What do you make of L3's sleeper counter-virus? How did her encounter impact her championing droid rights?
3. Like so many other SW books, shows, comics, etc. the author pulls in several threads from other sources to ground it in the SW Universe. Which character cameo was your favorite?
4. Overall, how did you like the book?
5. Anything else?
FYI - There's no need to answer all (or any) of the questions above - they're just talking points to get us started. Informal chatter is more than welcome! In-person book clubs often veer off topic, it's okay if we do as well. :)
