I honestly hadn't thought much about hyperspace lanes until these books.

Now I wish there was a love triangle with Syl, her ex, and the Senator. LOL!

I'm surprised at how little Syl knew about her mother's background.
I was surprised, too. I wonder how old her mother is and how old Syl is. It makes me think Syl is closer in age to Vern and not like in her 20's or something?
