October Theme: Published in the 00's - Part 2

This month will be a themed month. The idea is to read any Star Wars book you'd like that can be applied to the theme. The material can be anything - adult, YA, comics, even story-centric games.

1. Have you started reading your chosen book? If so, how's it going?

I'm most of the way through mine, thanks to a combination of leave and family visits. I like quite a few things about it, but given that it's set in the Clone Wars I had the uncomfortable realisation while reading earlier today that one way or another, all of the characters bar Yoda will be dead in the next few canon years.

I remember very early on in this book club we read the last book to feature Ventress, and her exultation over killing Jedi is rather disturbing - but given that I've now read most of the comics to feature Quinlan Vos, I'm almost tempted to do a re-read and see how my perceptions of the story have changed.
