Welcome to our second of four check-in and discussion posts for our Book of the Month.
This month’s book is Master and Apprentice by Claudia Gray
Part 2: Chapters 11-20
Master and Apprentice Part 2
1. Qui-Gon mentioned he could "feel the subtle flow of the Force" between Pax and Rhara, that there was no darkness there. Is that merely narrative license to help us as readers feel more surety about their intentions, or do you think there's something being said about Qui-Gon's sensitivity in being able to notice such things?
2. Rael Averross appears convinced this Halin Azucca is in charge of 'Opposition' and responsible for all the attacks - the dangerous and the non-lethal ones like the balloon. How many different 'Opposition' parties do you think we'll ultimately find?
3. There seems to be an implication of a traitor among the palace staff. Any predictions on who it could be?
4. Is the Czerka Corporation your average evil corporation archetype or do you think there will be a twist in there somewhere?
FYI - There's no need to answer all (or any) of the questions above - they're just talking points to get us started. Informal chatter is more than welcome! In-person book clubs often veer off topic, it's okay if we do as well. :)
All I ask is that you try to avoid spoilers for things past Part II of the book.
