star wars book club

swbookclub is a year old!! Thank you to everyone who's participated (and lurked). It's been a great ride and I've really enjoyed reading so many different flavors of Star Wars books. I've especially enjoyed reading them along with you - and I truly appreciate that you've tagged along. I hope you all are enjoying it as well and I look forward to another Star Wars filled year!


Some housekeeping items:

#1) A reminder that our February book has already been selected (as we had a tie in our poll). We will be reading Chaos Rising by Timothy Zahn. A starter post for that book will be going up soon.

#2) Please leave a comment to this post with suggestions for March. I will carry over the suggestions left in our last poll (since there was a tie). Those were:
Star Wars: Death Troopers by Joe Schreiber
Master and Apprentice by Claudia Gray
Feel free to make an additional suggestion, even if one of these were yours. We rarely get too many suggestions to fit in a poll. If we ever do get too many for a poll, I would prioritize suggestions from active participants but honestly, that hasn't happened and I don't expect it ;)

#4) I'm horribly behind on the comic section, but really do want to finish up the Doctor Aphra series. Then we'll see if we want to continue or maybe someone else would like to take up the comics mantle?.
Next up is Doctor Aphra, Vol. 4: The Catastrophe Con. I'm hoping to get a post of in a few days.

#5) As always, I welcome feedback and suggestions. I'm still interested in doing some sort of re-watch of movies and shows in 2022 and would like to see if there's any interest?
