Welcome to our second of four check-in and discussion posts for our Book of the Month.
This month’s book is Ahsoka by E.K. Johnston
Chapters 8-15
Ahsoka
1. Did Hoban and the other farmers do the right thing in their two-pronged approach in dealing with the Imperials? What other options do you think they had?
2. Will Ahsoka leave Raada behind entirely? How does the force-sensitive Fardi girl tie in to what's happening now on Raada?
3. How does the destruction of the planet's eco-system, at Raada and other places, seem at all sustainable in the long run to the Empire? (/rhetorical?)
4. How do you think the main confrontation will play out? What would you like to see?
FYI - There's no need to answer all (or any) of the questions above - they're just talking points to get us started. Informal chatter is more than welcome! In-person book clubs often veer off-topic, it's okay if we do as well. :)
All I ask is that you try to avoid spoilers for things past Part II of the book.
